How effective is the shock protection of high-temperature lithium batteries downhole?

A good downhole high temperature lithium battery will have a strong and durable casing, which is like putting a thick layer of armour on the battery to withstand a certain level of vibration and impact.

The internal components of the battery, such as electrodes, diaphragms and electrolyte, etc., if they are arranged and fixed in a reasonable way, they will not be easily shifted or damaged during vibration, and the anti-vibration effect will be better.

Some batteries will have cushioning material added internally, similar to putting a shock absorber on the battery to reduce the impact of vibration on the battery.

The fine manufacturing process ensures that the individual components of the battery are tightly bonded and improves the overall shock resistance.
