What is the difference between primary and secondary batteries for underground battery types?

Primary cells are “disposable” batteries.

Once the chemical reaction between the electrode materials of the battery is over. The battery loses its ability to produce energy. It must be removed and replaced with a new battery or battery pack.

Secondary batteries are “rechargeable” batteries.

The chemical reaction that takes place inside the cell is reversible and can be repeated for hundreds or thousands of cycles, depending on the chemical reaction.
